KAYSERI MUNICIPALITY COMPLEX

Since we are all obliged to be accustomed to typical community buildings in Turkey as a monumental one piece of building, we have aimed for creating unique ones which provide people to spend their processing or waiting times more joyfully. That is why we have distributed communal functions into different buildings on site and connected them with a sunken plaza in the middle. Consequently, the resultant idea emerged as not just a `community building`, building for public, which prioritize and pay attention to people`s needs. While whole buildings are connected on basement floor and locates dining and cafes overlooking the plaza, on the upper floors buildings break to pieces in order to allow access, let people to wait and relax and create green areas.
